Rocket re-entry debris
Occasionally, fragments from spacecraft or rocket stages re-enter Earth’s atmosphere, producing multiple glowing objects travelling together with visible fragmentation. Bright meteors are another realistic explanation for sudden reports of extraordinary lights.

- distant cloud-to-cloud flashes hidden behind cloud banks;

Assessing future Comorian reports
