The 1970 miniature-humanoid stories

Yet the case deteriorates under evidential scrutiny. Public accounts rarely provide exact observation coordinates, calibrated photographs, original negatives, radar records or consistent descriptions from separately interviewed witnesses. Claims about the object’s enormous size appear to have been visual estimates made without a known distance. The humanoid element is even less secure. It appears prominently in later specialist retellings, but is not consistently central in shorter contemporary summaries. Tanjung Sepat therefore remains unresolved in the limited sense that no definitive mundane identification has been demonstrated publicly. It is not “confirmed” evidence of an exotic craft.
