The cases that became security stories

Bangladesh itself has treated unauthorised drone activity as an aviation and national-security concern. Regional evidence soon narrowed the possibilities. The same luminous trail was observed across eastern India, particularly Odisha and West Bengal. The unusual appearance was not, by itself, evidence of unusual propulsion. Why regional variation matters
Bangladesh’s geography produces different categories of sightings in different areas, although the small number of documented reports prevents meaningful statistical conclusions.
Dhaka and its surrounding urban belt generate most readily searchable civilian reports. That probably reflects population density, internet access and the likelihood that witnesses will submit accounts in English to an overseas database. It does not necessarily indicate more anomalous activity. Official files and the problem of missing archives

Debunked or conventionally explained claims

Why photographs and eyewitnesses are often insufficient
