A frequently repeated account places a major encounter at Umm Al-Aish in 1970. In this version, oil workers investigating a shutdown found a huge object near a pumping station; their vehicle allegedly failed, the craft hovered silently and then departed at extraordinary speed. The 2024 offshore “orb” remains an allegation
Kuwait returned to international UFO discussion during a US House hearing in November 2024. Something—or several different things—was reported over Kuwait, and officials were unable to identify every event from the information available.
