Three family members in Doha said that a large, steady silver-white light moved slowly southwards for about five minutes before brightening and disappearing. Doha dominates because people and aircraft do

This case illustrates why simultaneous regional observations matter. A luminous object seen from only one Doha neighbourhood might seem local and low in the atmosphere. When observers hundreds of kilometres apart report the same phenomenon, it must instead be extremely distant and high. Why the surviving cases remain weak
An object is “unidentified” only when the available information is insufficient to identify it. The word does not imply that investigators have eliminated aircraft, satellites, celestial bodies or atmospheric phenomena. Qatar’s principal reports remain unresolved largely because they lack the information needed to test those possibilities.
The recurring weaknesses are substantial:
