The strongest argument that Vranov deserves serious historical attention is not that it proves an extraordinary craft existed, but that multiple forms of evidence were reportedly generated during the incident.

Equally important is what has not been found. Human recollection changes over time, especially after repeated interviews, media coverage and discussion within UFO literature. No explanation currently accounts for every reported feature of the incident.

Meteorological explanations have also been suggested. How the Case Fits Within Czech UFO Research
Within the broader history of Czech UFO investigations, the Vranov incident occupies a unique position because it combines three elements rarely found together: military aircrew testimony, reported radar involvement and alleged missing official records.
